Calabrian Beef & Gnocchi

10 oz ground beef
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp mascarpone cheese
17.6 oz gnocchi
2 tbsp tomato paste
¼ cup grated romano cheese
1 zucchini
1 ½ tsp calabrian chili paste

1-fill a medium pot ¾ of the way up with salted water
Cut the zucchini in a half moon
Chop 2 cloves of garlic

2- in a pan, heat 1 tsp of olive oil
Add the zucchini; season with salt and pepper
Cook for 5 minutes. Transfer to a bowl

3- in the same pan, heat 1 tsp of olive oil
Add the beef; season with salt and pepper
Cook for 5 minutes. Add the garlic, tomato paste, and chili paste
Season with salt and pepper. Cook 2 minutes

4- meanwhile, add the gnocchi to the pot of boiling water
Cook for 3 minutes. Drain thoroughly

5- add the gnocchi and mascarpone cheese to the pan of beef and sauce. Taste, then season with salt and pepper
Serve the beef and gnocchi garnish with the romano cheese
