An ancient wine is brought back to new life, characterized by power, structure, mineral complexity and other aromatic characteristics. Its longevity, not common for a white wine, is made possible by the characteristics of the grape, by the territory where it is cultivated and by the style of vinification.
Derthona is dry, warm and smooth, dominated by a good balance between high alcohol content and high content of organic acids; to the nose it is intense and complex.
Fruity aromas are perceived, reminiscent of pear and peach, and floral aromas of acacia flowers and hawthorn, with well-defined reminiscences of candy floss.
