Panna Cotta Recipe:
This milk panna cotta with almonds is an elegant desserts that’s very easy to prepare. Wow your guests with minimal effort! Homemade panna cotta is one of my favorite desserts. In previous season cook with comali, ramya pandian done this recipe. It is also a best cooku with comali recipes. I love making panna cotta for dessert, especially if I’m having guests over. It sounds fancy, it looks fancy. Panna cotta makes me look good. Also, it takes less effort than a box of cake mix. we can make this Italian dessert in home with very few ingredients. Here I have explained how to make this panna cotta recipe in Tamil with very few ingredients.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Freezing time : 2 to 3 hours
Serves:3
Ingredients Used:
Milk – 1 cup
Sugar – 1/4 cup
Agar agar – 1/2 tsp
Almonds – 20
Vanilla extract – 1/2 tsp
Procedure:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the agar agar with 1-2 tablespoons of milk or water, enough to dissolve the powder. Let stand for 5 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, heat the milk, almond paste, sugar and vanilla in medium-sized saucepan set over medium-high heat. Whisk to help the sugar dissolve.
3. Once the mixture is simmering, pour the agar agar mix. Whisk until the gelatin and milk are combined, gently scraping the bottom of the bowl to make none of the agar agar is left behind.
4. Divide the mixture evenly between in serving cups. Place in the refrigerator until firm, at least 3 hours.
5. For garnishing I am using almonds. In a sauce apn, add 2 tbsp of sugar.
6. Allow it to melt, add sliced almonds and sauté for a minute.
7. Pour this on a plate and allow it to cool.
8. After cooled, cut into pieces.
9. Now take it from refrigerator and demold it. And garnish it with almond pieces.
10.Delicious panna cotta ready.
