Let’s make my delicious CHICKEN SALTIMBOCCA! #shorts
Ingredients (serves 4):
-8 thin chicken breast slices (approximately 600g in total)
-8 Prosciutto slices (Parma ham)
-8 fresh sage leaves
-200ml white wine
-50g butter
-4 tbsps olive oil
-a pinch of salt
-a pinch of pepper
-flour (optional)
First of all, cut your chicken and Prosciutto slices in half. If you like your saltimbocca bigger, you can avoid cutting them.
Top each chicken slice with Prosciutto, a fresh sage leaf and secure with a cocktail stick.
This is optional: if you want you can flour each saltimbocca!
Melt butter in a pan over medium-low heat, add olive oil and fry your chicken saltimbocca for about 3 minutes. Add white wine, cover with a lid and cook for about 8/10 minutes or until your chicken is fully cooked. Season with a pinch of salt if necessary but pay attention because the Prosciutto is already very salty. Set aside.
Deglaze your pan with some more butter (30g more), white wine (80ml more) and pepper. Stir everything together for about 2/3 mins or until the sauce will start to thicken.
Pour your sauce on top of your chicken saltimbocca and enjoy!
Buon appetito!
