Essere furbo come una volpe = to be as cunning as a fox
Essere testardo come un mulo = to be as stubborn as a mule
Essere pazzo come un cavallo = literally, โ€œto be as crazy as a horseโ€- English equivalent: to be as crazy as a hatter.
Essere cieco come una talpa = literally, โ€œto be as blind as a moleโ€- English equivalent: to be as blind as a bat.
Essere lento come una lumaca = to be as slow as a snail.
Essere la mosca bianca = essere molto raro/ essere lโ€™eccezione positiva. Literally, โ€œto be the white flyโ€ which means to be very rare and the positive exception. English equivalent: to be a rare bird.
Essere la pecora nera = essere lโ€™eccezione negativa. English equivalent: to be the black sheep.
Avere la momoria da elefante = avere una memoria eccellente. Literally, โ€œto have a memory like an elephantโ€, meaning to have an excellent memory.
