Easy bread sticks recipe/ Italian grissini

Ingredients:

250ml warm milk
480g strong bread flour
50g Parmesan flakes
30g butter
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon salt

Method:

Pour the warm milk in a large bowl, add 2 tablespoons of flour and honey. Stir and leave aside for 5 to 10 min. After that add salt, flour, parmesan cheese and combine all together. Knead lightly and add the butter, after that knead again for 5 to 10 min and leave for an hour to prove. In the beginning the dough will be wet and sticky so do not add extra flour.
After an hour cut into 16 to 20 pieces and rolled them into sticks. Grease lightly the bread sticks and sprinkle some herbs, seeds, nuts or leave plain.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180c for 12 to 15 min or until golden and crispy.
