Ackee and saltfish pizza is a Jamaican fusion dish that I make for the family. Traditional ackee and saltfish (Jamaica’s national dish) is perfect and so is pizza. So why, not put the two together! Try it … you will love it. @Garden Breeze Productions

Recipe for Pizza Dough:
2 tsp of active dry yeast
1/2 cup of warm water
Mix .. ensure yeast is dissolved
Add 1 tablespoon honey
Mix
Add 1 tsp of olive oil
Mix
Add Flour – 1 cup and 1/2 tsp of salt
Mix with wooden spoon or spatula
Turn onto floured surface and knead
Put into smooth ball and cover with some olive oil and place into container with lid or plastic wrap. Let rise until double in size.
Roll onto floured surface and then place into into pizza pan (remember to spray the pan and add cornmeal on pan).
Now you are ready for your favourite toppings and then add the Ackee and Saltfish as per your own cooking method. TRY NOT to make it too WET. So, not too much oil or water. Make the Ackee mixture dry.
