A&Z #936 – Randy Santel “Atlas” vs the Massive Miami Pizza and Empanadas Challenge at 305 Pizza in the Wynwood area of Miami, Florida. Katina and I decided to kick off our 2021 food challenge touring in Florida, and our February Florida Tour turned into a February & March Florida Tour!! I attempted lots of food challenges all over the state of Florida. For challenge #17, I traveled to 305 Pizza in the artsy Wynwood area of Miami, Florida so that I could help kick off their new massive Miami Pizza and Empanadas Challenge which features two of their 24″ long x 9″ wide pizzas plus 5 of their incredible empanadas. I was allowed to split each pizza up into halves and enjoy 4 different specialty topping options. I got their Calle Ocho (Pepperoni) Pizza, the 305 (Supreme) Pizza, the Coral Gables (Greek Veggie) Pizza, and Miami River (BBQ Chicken) Pizza. For the 5 empanadas required, I got one each of the Ham & Cheese, Beef, Chicken, Spinach, and Onion & Cheese empanadas. I was trying to win my $75 meal free plus a sweet hat and spot on their Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to everyone with 305 Pizza for the amazing food, drinks, and hospitality!! 305 Pizza’s Massive Miami Pizza and Empanadas Challenge in Wynwood, Miami, Florida ($75):
– 305 Pizza serves the greater Miami, Florida area with one location in Wynwood, and another at the Miami International Airport – CONCOURSE “D” GATE 27.
– For this pizza and empanadas challenge, you must finish 2 whole pizzas which are each 24″ long x 9″ wide, plus 5 empanadas of your choosing. You can get the same topping options on both pizzas, get a different set of toppings on each pizza, or even split each pizza up into halves.
– My 4 pizza topping options – Calle Ocho (Pepperoni), 305 Pizza (Supreme), Coral Gables (Greek Veggie), and Miami River (BBQ Chicken).
– 5 empanada options – Ham & Cheese, Beef, Chicken, Spinach, and Onion empanada.
– There is a 1 hour time limit to finish, and there are no drink requirements (beers were optional).
– Winners receive the $75 meal free, a sweet hat and/or water bottle, and spot on Wall of Fame.
