Bruschetta
Ingredients:-
White Bread loaf 1,
Tomatoes 3,
Garlic pods 5,
Fresh Basil Leaf 4-5,
Parmesan Cheese,
Olive oil,
Chilly flakes,
Oregano,
Black pepper,
Salt (optional).
Procedure:-
1. Dice the tomatoes and transfer to a bowl. Chop the garlic finely and add 3/4 portion to the tomatoes. Take some olive oil in a bowl, add rest of the chopped garlic and mix them well.
2. Roll up basil leaves, chop them finely and add them into the tomato mixture. Drizzle olive oil. Season it with oregano, black pepper and chilly flakes. Mix them all together and let it rest for 30 mins.
3. Take the loaf and cut half inch thick slices. Place them on a baking sheet and apply garlic infused olive oil on both sides of the slices. Grate generous amount of parmesan cheese and bake it in a preheated over at 170 degrees for 8-10 mins.
4. Take them out of the oven and pile it with the tomato mixture. You could drizzle them with some extra virgin olive oil or have it like that like I did.
Ideally these are made with baguettes, but as they are difficult to source them I made white bread loaf. Will be posting the video soon so stay tuned :’)
