VEGAN ITALIAN MEATBALLS WITHOUT ANY MEAT! Delicious Vegan gluten free meatballs that are amazingly similar to the real thing.

I 15 oz can black beans well rinsed
1 c cooked lentils
1/4 c gluten free flour blend
(Add 1/4 tsp xanthum gum) for better stick) so meatballs won’t fall apart while cooking.
1/4 yellow onion chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
Salt to taste
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
1/2 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp liquid smoke
Pulse in food processor until it Lola’s like ground beef but not too a paste.
Roll into 1” balls (yield 17)
Place in hot skillet with 2 Tbs Avocado oil.
Spaghetti sauce
3 cans tomato sauce
2 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
1/2 tsp thyme
Brown meatballs 2-3 min on ea. side. Simmer sauce until the flavors are all mingled. I made gluten free spaghetti noodles to go with these amazing Italian meatballs!
