If you don’t know, Meringhe/Meringue is a type of dessert or candy and it was invented in the Swiss village of Meiringen and improved by an Italian chef named Gasparini between the end of the 17th century.

Meringue are traditionally made from whipped egg whites, sugar and lemon juice/vanilla extract.

How do they taste? LIGHT, AIRY and SWEET confections. The Homemade meringues are often chewy and soft with a crisp exterior delicious with some fruits.

Note: A uniform crisp texture can be achieved by baking at a low temperature (120°-130°C) for an extended period of up to two hours // 90 minutes.
