In this video Im going to show you my way to make a fresh home made cavatelli pasta from semola.
Cavatelli are a small shell shaped of pasta, very easy to make them.
What Im Using:
• Wooden pasta board
• Double milled durum wheat semolina
• Warm water
Makes 2 Portions
Pasta Dough:
300g double milled durum wheat semolina
150g warm water
Knead the ingredients until nice and smooth, then cover and let is rest for at least half an hour.
Cut a small part of the dough and roll into thin strip. Use a knife or spatula and cut the strip into small balls (like gnocchi).
Use the pasta board to roll the balls downward with your pointer and middle fingers.
