NOW FOR THIS DELICIOUS RECIPE:
TURKEY ITALIAN SANDWICH (2 SANDWICHES)
4 PIECES PEPPERIDGE FARM FARMHOUSE SOURDOUGH BREAD
8-10 PIECES SMOKED TURKEY SANDWICH MEAT
4 TBSP. PIZZA OR PASTA SAUCE
1/8 CUP SHREDDED MOZZERELLA CHEESE
1/8 CUP SHREDDED PARMESAN CHEESE
ITALIAN SEASONING (MCCORMICK ORGANIC)
GARLIC POWDER (MCCORMICK ORGANIC)
8 MUSHROOMS-MARINATED MUSHROOMS (ITALIAN STYLE)
4 TSP. BUTTER AT ROOM TEMPERATURE
Preheat a large skillet with a lid on lowest heat setting. Butter both sides of bread then turn it face down. Put 2 tablespoons pasta sauce on each sandwich (or more if desired)
Place turkey slices on the bread side without pasta sauce. Sprinkle cheeses onto top of sauce and sprinkle with spices. Place bread butter side down into skillet and cover to brown. Warm sliced mushrooms in microwave or in skillet with sandwiches and place on sandwiches before serving. Take out sandwich when bread has browned. Enjoy with some fresh fruit!
