The Veneziane are a classic of the festivities (especially Christmas) and the Milanese breakfast. In the video we present the traditional Christmas single-portion version (but you can also prepare a unique dessert, with candied fruit like panettone), without cream and with lots of sugar grains. Our homemade Veneziane blinds are soft empty brioche, which can be enriched at will with creams or marmalade.

Ingredients:
13.5 gr (400 gr) of Manitoba flour
1 oz (20 gr) of brewer’s yeast
0.8 cup (210 ml) of milk
3.5 oz (100 gr) of caster sugar
a pinch of salt
1 sachet (8 gr) of vanilla sugar
1 organic lemon
2.6 oz (75 gr) of butter
2 medium yolks (40 gr)
Grain of sugar q.b.
