Our lunch destination after a morning of wine tasting in the Alexander Valley was Catelli’s Italian Restaurant in Geyerville. Opened in 1936 by their grand parents, celebrity chef and author Dominica Catelli co-owns the restaurant with her brother Nicholas. Our lunches included 10-layer lasagna, pork bolognese and spaghetti & meatballs.
On our way back to our Calistoga hotel we stopped to sample the tastes and views at Trattore Farms Wines and Dry Creek Olive Company in their beautiful hilltop tasting room overlooking Dry Creek Valley.
