Paneer tikka masala pizza! Sound yummy, right? It’s actually extremely delicious! This fusion recipe is a combination of Indian paneer tikka masala with Italian pizza base.

Ingredients – (in the order of ingreditents used )

Gravy / sauce –

Oil – 2 tsp
Butter – 1 tsp + 1 tsp
cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Ginger garlic green chilli minced – 1 tbsp
onion – 1 medium
tomato puree – 1 cup
red chilli powder – 1& 1/2 tsp
coriander powder- 2 tsp
garam masala – 1&1/2 tsp
salt to taste
fresh cream – 2-3 tbsp
kaasuri methi – 1/4 tsp
fresh coriander leaves – to garnish

Paneer cubes –

oil – 1 tsp
butter – 1/2 tsp
cottage cheese paneer – 200 gms
red chilli pdr – 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
cumin powder – 1/4 tsp
black salt pinch
salt to taste
kasuri methi pinch

pizza base 5-6 no.
mozzarella cheese – 1 cup
dices of capsicum – 1/2 cup
dices of onion – 1/2 cup

Method –

paneer masala gravy – (sauce for pizza )
1.In a pan or kadhai add oil and butter , then add cumin seeds , ginger garlic green chilli minced and saute .
2. then add chopped onions and cook until translucent or golden.
3. then add tomato puree and cook until oil separates and the raw aroma of tomatoes are gone.
4. then add butter and a splash of water.
5. then add red chilli powder (degi mirch), coriander powder , garam masala powder and salt and cook them all together.
6. when the consistency of sauce is achieved turn of the heat and add fresh cream, kasuri methi and fresh coriander leaves.

Paneer cubes –
1. in a pan heat oil and butter.
2. add small paneer cubes.
3. toss until golden brown on all sides.
4 add spices- red chilli powder, turmeric powder , coriander powder , cumin powder, black salt , regular salt and kasuri methi
5. give it a nice mix until the spices are coated the the paneer cubes.

pizza –
1. take a mini pizza base.
2. add the paneer masala gravry / sauce.
3. spread mozzarella cheese.
4. top with cubes of paneer and vegetables of choice.
5. cook in a pre heated oven at 250 c for 10-12 minutes until golden brown .
6. or cook in a pan on low heat and cover it .
7. serve hot and enjoy.
