Follow this recipe to make perfect Gnocco Fritto. These Italian fried breads, are perfect served with cold cut meats, soft cheeses or added to a charcuterie board.
Ingredients:
100 ml lukewarm water
1 teaspoon of active dry yeast
2 cups + 1 tablespoon of all purpose flour
1 teaspoon of salt
3 heaping tablespoons of lard
optional ( 1 sprig of rosemary)
Vegetable or Lard for frying.
