Today we are collaborating with Turano Bread on a delicious panini! This mouth watering pressed sandwich is made with savory Pirro’s Marinara Sauce and crispy Turano Italian Pane Bread filled with grilled vegetables and cheese! Full Recipe Below.
Cheesy Zucchini Panini
Ingredients:
6 Thin slices of Zucchini
6 Thin slices of Red Onion
1/3 Cup of Pirro’s Marinara Sauce
2 Slices of Turano Italian Pane Bread
2 Slices of Mozzarella Cheese
2 Slices of Provolone Cheese
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Tbsp. Butter
2 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
Directions:
1. Grill both vegetables, then set aside.
2. Combine Olive Oil, Butter, and Garlic in a bowl and melt.
3. Spread Garlic Mixture on two equal sized pieces of Turano Italian Pane Bread (this garlic mixture will be on the inside of the sandwich).
4. Next, place two slices of provolone cheese on one slice of bread.
5. Follow with two slices of mozzarella cheese on the other slice.
6. Layer three slices of zucchini followed by all of the onions.
7. Evenly spread 1/3 cup of Marinara on top of onions.
8. Finish layering with final three pieces of zucchini slices and close sandwich.
9. Prepare desired cooking surface.
10. Grill sandwich until bread is toasted and cheese begins to bubble.
11. Serve Immediately. Buon Appetito!
