How are you all? hope everyone doing good. Here is a new recipe which is actually an Italian-American cuisine. Red sauce spaghetti or spaghetti in marinara sauce. This is one of the popular recipe in Italy which is made using tomato sauce. I have shared here the basic one which is very useful to make with out tomato paste. This recipe is very rich in tangy flavour of tomatoes. I hope everyone like my recipe. Do try it once and send me your valuable feedbacks. Ingredients are given below 👇

INGREDIENTS:

(Servings : 2 to 3)

Step – 1 (blanching tomatoes)

1)Tomatoes – 500 to 600 grams
2)Water – required to boil

Step – 2 (boiling spaghetti)

1)Spaghetti – 300 grams
2)Water – 2 litre approximately
3)Salt – 1/2 to 1 tsp

Step – 3 (making marinara sauce)

1)Olive oil – 2 to 3 tbsp (or any oil you wish)
2)Garlic – 2 cloves (chopped finely)
3)Onion – 1 medium sized (chopped finely)
4)Veggies or any meat
(I used bell peppers. If you are adding meat, first boil it then shred it and then add)

5)Tomato puree – which we made in step -1
6)Salt – as per your taste
7)Pepper powder – as per your taste
8)Kashmiri red chilli powder or paprika – 1 tsp (optional)
9)Italian mixed herbs – as per your need
10)Vinegar – 2 tbsp
11)Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp
12)Sugar – 1 tsp
13)Water – add if needed

Note: Use water from leftover stock of spaghetti
