Chicken Lasagna –
Ingredients –
Lasagna Pasta Sheets – 250 gm (Ready to use variety of pasta sheets, If not available then use the regular variety and Boil and cool similar to any other pasta)
Mozzarella / Cheddar / Parmesan Cheese –100gm
Baking tray
Chopped Fresh Herbs – Basil and Parsley
Bolognese Sauce –
Ingredients –
Chicken mince – 500gm
Tomato – 500gm (Make fine Puree)
Red bell Pepper – ½ Diced
Yellow Bell pepper – ½ Dices
Green Bell Pepper – ½ Diced
Garlic – 12 to 15 cloves Chopped
Carrot – 1 Diced
Celery or Basil stalks – 2 table spoon chopped
black pepper Powder – 1 Table Spoon Spoon
Mix Herbs – 1 Table Spoon
Red Chilli Powder – 1 Table Spoon
Butter – 25gm
Olive Oil – 3 table spoon
Olives – 2 table spoon
Refined flour – 1 table spoon
Tomato Ketchup – 2 table spoon
Salt to taste
White Sauce / Bechamel Sauce
Ingredients –
Butter – 25gm
Flour – ½ Table spoon
Milk – 300 ml
Cream – 2 Table spoon
Mozzarella / Cheddar / Parmesan Cheese –100gm
Nutmeg – small piece grated
Salt as per taste
Method Bolognese Sauce
• Heat pan add Olive oil and Butter, Add garlic and sauté lightly. Add the Chopped onion, Carrots, Celery / Basil Stalks / steams Cook for few min Add Salt as per taste
• Add the Chopped Peppers and mix well. Then add Dry Spices and Chicken Mince.
• Cook till Mince is dry and mixed with spices and Vegetables
• Add Tomato Puree and Cook for 5 min
• Add the Tomato Ketchup Mix well and cook for another 7 to 10 min on low heat
• Check for seasoning
Method Bechamel / White sauce –
• Heat pan and add the butter and melt, Whisk in refined flour.
• Once Mixed add milk in batches till thick and lump free sauce is formed
• Add the Grated cheese, Cream mix well to form thick sauce
• Switch off the flame and grate Nutmeg and adjust seasoning
Assembly of Lasagna –
• Coat the Baking tray with Butter, Place the Past sheets on baking tray surface cover with white Sauce
• Top the with layer of bolognaise sauce, Mix herbs, Grated cheese
• Cover it with layer of Pasta sheets and repeat the process
• Cover the final layer with Pasta sheets then White sauce and grated cheese
• Bake in pe- heated oven for 30 to 40 min at 180 to 200C
• Remove and let it rest for 10 min
• Cut and serve with garnish of Basil leaves and Parsley leaves
• Enjoy with family and friends
