Arrabbiata pasta sauce is a simple recipe for spicy tomato sauce that uses fresh ingredients right
from the garden! It is bold in flavor thanks to the combination of chili and peeled tomatoes with just the right amount of fresh parsley. Sprinkle it with cheese and you will have a healthy, delicious, vegetarian meal you can enjoy almost any time of the day. But BEWARE, Arrabbiata means “angry” because it’s traditionally enjoyed quite HOT.
INGREDIENTS:
COOKING OIL 2 TBSP
ONION CHOPPED PYAZ 1 MEDIUM
GARLIC CHOPPED LEHSAN 1 TSP
CHICKEN FILLET MURGHI 250 GRAMS
SALT NAMAK TO TASTE
BLACK PEPPER KAALI MIRCH ½ TSP
RED CHILLI FLAKES KUTI LAAL MIRCH 1 TSP
TOMATO TAMATAR 3 MEDIUM
TOMATO PASTE TAMATAR PASTE 2 TBSP
PENNE PASTA (BOILED) 200 GRAMS
OREGANO ½ TSP
BASIL LEAVES TULSI KE PATTEY 8
BLACK OLIVES 3 – 4
SPRINKLE
MOZZARELLA CHEESE
BLACK OLIVES
THAI RED CHILIES
METHOD:
1. Heat oil in non-stick pan.
2. Add garlic and onion and sauté until onion turns golden
3. Add chicken and cook for 5 minutes
4. Add salt, black pepper, red chilli flakes, chopped tomatoes, tomato paste & mix well.
5. Add boiled pasta mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
6. Now sprinkle oregano, add fresh basil leaves and cook for 5 minutes.
7. Finally add the prepared pasta in a bowl, black olives slices and garnish with shredded mozzarella cheese, olives & thai red chillies.
8. Enjoy your best Italian recipe ever.
