Chicken Francaise is an Italian American dish of flour- dredged,egg dipped,sautΓ©ed chicken cutlets with a lemon butter garlic sauce .White wine /Vinegar is used here as one of the major ingredients. The sauce is mainly made of Vinegar ,Chicken Stock and unsalted Butter. This a gourmet dinner ,which is quite delicious and takes very less time to prepare.
Its can be intakes as starter as well as main course dish .

Ingredients :

Chicken Breast piece (boneless) – 1 (approx 250gms)
Eggs – 2
Processed Cheese (any) – 2 tspn
Vinegar – 2 tbspn
Garlic crushed – 1 tspn
Coriander leaves (chopped) – 1 small cup
Butter – 2 tbspn
Olive oil (any vegetable oil) – 2tbspn
Chicken stock – 1 cup
Salt – as required
Black Pepper – as required
All purpose Flour (maida) – 1/2 cup

Method :

1st step :
Take a boneless Breast piece of Chicken and give it a butterfly cut .
Now take a cling film /butter paper ,and with the help of rolling pin flatten the broader part of the chicken ,so that it becomes even from all the sides.

Step 2 :
Marinate the chicken piece with required amount of salt and black pepper powder ,and then coat it with All Purpose Flour .Keep aside for sometime.

Step 3:
Prepare a batter out of eggs , salt , pepper , coriander leaves (take half of the cup ,and keep the rest stored for later use in the dish) and processed cheese. Give it a good mix and now coat the Chicken piece with the batter . Keep the chicken piece for 10mins .

Step 4:
In a frying pan ,take 2 tbspn of olive oil (or any vegetable oil) . Into that add 1 tbspn of butter.
Now fry the chicken peice for 5mins on one side .Once done, flip the chicken piece and fry the other side for 5mins .once the chicken gets fried properly , keep aside in a plate .

Step 4:
Prepare the sauce .
In the same frying pan ,add 1 cup of chicken stock /chicken broth. Add the vinegar into it..
Give a good stir. Once boil starts appearing in the mixture ,add the remaining butter ,crushed garlic ,required amount of salt , black pepper powder and the remaining coriander leaves .
Give a good stir . Now add the fried chicken piece into the sauce and let it cook for 10 mins more with the lid on. (Flip the chicken in between)
And now the Chicken Francaise is ready to serve .
(** note: don’t forget to pour the sauce over the chicken piece ,that makes it more juicy to eat ).
