OUR FULL NONNA BOX REVIEW:
Italian food can be some of the most delicious food in the world. However, the hard part is finding true authentic Italian food (e.g. homemade pasta, bolognese, and olive oil). When the right ingredients are combined, it can make a dish that’s to die for!
That is why we were so excited to try Nonna Box. This meal delivery service is one of the most unique ones we’ve ever reviewed in that each box pairs you up with a “Nonna” (Italian grandmother). The box contains her favorite Italian foods. Ours came with delicious pasta, bolognese sauce, delectable dark chocolate, and the best nutmeg spread I’ve ever had (yes, even better than Nutella).
Cooking the meal was very simple and the recipe was easy to follow. What’s more is that each box explains where the ingredients came from and goes in-depth on the region. It was interesting getting to learn about Italian food and our Nonna.
What made Nonna Box special was that it was more than just a meal, it was an experience.
We had a lot of fun making the food and even more eating it!
