When Thama- the traditional grandmother of a typical Bengali household is made to watch the dubbed version of a travel and cooking show…she is clueless as to what is going on and what ingredients are being used.
The use of alcohol in food strikes at the very root of her orthodox mindset which still sees alcohol as something forbidden.
Adding to the commotion is the television of the house in which the dubbing of English in Bengali is faulty and thus giving way to technical glitches where the show turns to English time and again. What happens in the end is hilarious…keep watching
