Creamy Carbonara Recipe
If it is creamy carbonara that you want, then this is the recipe for you! Keep on watching!
Carbonara is a comfort food for many.Whenever they are feeling low or they just want to celebrate something, they would love to order this from their favorite restaurant or make one in their home. We don’t know when it became popular in the Philippines, but we, Filipinos, love it! Creamy, saucey, savory, delicious!
Similar to other pasta dishes, carbonara came from Italy. It is usually made with cheese, egg, cured pork (bacon!), and pepper. The common pasta used in this dish is spaghetti, but fettuccine, linguine, and ricatoni can also be used.
In this recipe, we added mushroom and ham. For the cheese, we used Parmesan. How can we make carbonara so creamy? It’s a combination of cream, fresh milk, cheese, and egg yolk! Also, make sure to lower the heat when adding the egg yolk and cheese so as not to break the creamy texture. Yum! Are you excited to try this one? Enjoy!
