Hey Guys, I’m bringing you one of my favorite recipes. Beware, this recipe contains yummy carbs! Old to some, new to most. This cheesy mostaccioli can be made for any occasion and recipe can be tweaked to your liking. With Father’s Day coming up this can serve as a perfect main or side dish. Can be enjoyed with garlic bread and salad. hope you enjoy. Thank you for watching!

Ingredients:
Box of mostaccioli noodles or pasta of choice
1 egg
Monetary Jack cheese
Italian Blend cheese
Can of diced tomatoes
3 Tbsp minced garlic
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 pound ground beef
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup small curd cottage cheese
Salt
Pepper
Italian seasoning
Smoked paprika
Garlic powder
Creole seasoning
Sugar
– Preheat oven to 350
– Boil water for pasta in pot
– Sauté 3 Tbsp minced garlic in 2 Tbsp of olive oil in skillet
– Add ground beef and brown
– Season meat with creole seasoning, pepper, and garlic powder (start with a bout a half Tbsp but taste to add more if needed)
– When meat is done browning, drain beef of grease
– Add drained can of diced tomatoes
– Add jar of pasta sauce
– Season sauce with creole seasoning, dash of salt, pepper, garlic powder (seasoning is eyeballed but should start with about a half Tbsp of each, taste and add more of needed) and about a Tbsp of sugar
– Add pasta to boiling, lightly salted water
– In a bowl combine 1 cup ricotta cheese, 1 cup cottage cheese, 1 egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning
When pasta is done cooking, combine with meat sauce
Spray pan with cooking spray
Start layering with pasta meat mixture, then cheese mixture. Continue until pasta meat mixture is last layer (about 3 layers)
Top with about a cup of Italian cheese and a cup of monetary jack cheese
Sprinkle with smoked paprika
Bake covered for 45 minutes and an addition 10 minutes uncovered
