A quick fix recipe, tadka idli is one of the easiest options around when you want to beat sudden hunger pangs.

Ingredients:
– Mini Idlis
– 6 Curry leaves
– 1 Tsp mustard seeds
– 1 Tsp cumin seeds(Ajwain)
– 1 Onion finely chopped
– 1 Tomato chopped
– 1 Tsp ginger & garlic paste
– 4 Green chillies
– 1 Tsp red chilli powder
– 1 Tsp turmeric powder
– 1 Tsp amchur powder
– Salt
– Oil
– Lime juice
– Coriander leaves

Method:
1) Cut the idlis into four quarters & keep them aside.
2) In a pan, add oil.
3) Once the oil is hot add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chopped onion, chopped tomato, ginger garlic paste, green chillies.
4) Once these start spluttering, add the powdered spices- turmeric & red chilli powder, amchur powder, salt to taste & lime juice.
5) Mix well & add the idlis.
6) Again, give everything a good mix & serve it up!
