Italian Lachha Paratha
Italian Lachcha Parantha: – (Makes 3 Paranthas)
Wheat Floor – 1.5 Cup
Mixed Italian Herbs – 2 tablespoons
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Soft Butter – 2 tablespoons
Chopped Coriander leaves – 1 tablespoon
Chopped Garlic – 6-7 Cloves
Chili Flakes – for sprinkle
Olive Oil – 4 tablespoons
Preparation: –
1. Take a bowl, add flour, mixed Italian herbs, and salt. Mix well and knead a soft dough.
2. Take soft butter and add chopped coriander leaves and chopped garlic. Mix well and keep aside.
3. Make a medium size round of dough and roll it to the size of a parantha. Apply garlic butter evenly and sprinkle some chili flakes.
4. Now cut thin strips with the help of a knife. Roll all the strips together and make a round for Lachcha parantha.
5. Roll the round again to the size of a Parantha.
6. Heat a tawa/ griddle and put the rolled parantha on the tawa.
7. Apply olive oil and cook evenly from both sides.
8. Once cooked take off the parantha from the tawa/griddle and crumble it well so that all the layers open nicely.
9. Serve hot.
