In this video, we share a recipe for the Bergsteiger Omelet, served at Rifugio Sennes, or Sennes Hütte (www.sennes.com). This hut is located on the Alta Via 1 ( which traverses the Italian Dolomites and is Italy’s highlight long-distance trek.

Ingredients:
-2 Tbsp. Flour
-A pinch of salt
-A little milk
-2 eggs
-Oil for cooking
-Chives
-Cheese
-Ham
-Diced Tomatoes

Directions:

1. Mix the eggs, milk, salt and flour
2. Heat the oil in a small pan
3. Pour the egg mixture into the pan
4. Once the omelet is solid enough, flip it
5. When the bottom side is cooked through, add the chives, cheese, ham and diced tomatoes. Fold in half and cook until the cheese is melted
