Parsley pesto

Pesto is a sauce originally from Italy
Traditionally It’s pine nut and basil leaves crushed with other ingredients into paste. Mainly used in pasta.
Here in the recipe I have used parsley and walnuts with Avocado.

Ingredients

1 cup parsley
1/4 cup walnuts
1 small avocado
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Italian herbs(optional)
Garlic pods (optional)
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons water

Description

Wash and clean parsley.
In a food processor, crush walnuts to powder. Later add remaining ingredients except cheese.
Grind them to smooth paste and mix cheese at the end.

Parsley Pesto is ready!!

Store it in air tight container and store in refrigerator upto one week .

Add to your favorite dish like white sauce pasta, bread etc

Notes –
When you store slight color change is common due to avocado 🥑 used .
