Ciao ragazzi. We are cooking agretti aka Monk’s beard in english.
It is a small, annual, succulent shrub that is native to the Mediterranean Basin. It is a halophyte that typically grows in coastal regions and can be irrigated with salt water. (Wikipedia).
Although you can cook it in many ways, in this video we cook it in the simplest way possible. It is quick and easy. You only need olive oil, lemon or vinegar, salt and then sautee until tender. Also perfect with fish. Enjoy! 😋😊
