Penne Arrabiata or Red Sauce Pasta is an Italian dish. Arrabiata means angry. So this red sauce pasta is spicy. Penne Arrabiata is all about Olive Oil, Garlic, some Chilli Flakes & Tomatoes. As it is an Italian dish, so it doesn’t have too much sauce. Let’s make our favourite Penne Arrabiata.

Just follow these simple steps to make Penne Arrabiata.

Ingredients:
Tomatoes: 3 medium (to make tomato puree)
Olive Oil: 2 tbsp
Finely Chopped Garlic: 4 cloves
Chilli Flakes: 2 tbsp
Chicken: 300g (if you are vegetarian, you can skip it.)
Tomato Puree (which we prepared earlier)
Shangrilla Chilli Garlic Sauce: 2 tbsp
Salt: 1.5 tsp
Boiled Penne: 1 cup (penne shouldn’t be over cooked)
Spring Onion (just for garnishing, you can garnish with whatever you want)
Some grated Parmesan Cheese (you can also skip it if you don’t want)

Recipe:
Take 3 tomatoes and blanch them. Put them in boiling water for hardly 1 minute. Now peel off their skin and grind them. This is how we make tomato puree. Keep it a side.
Now take olive oil in a pan & add chopped garlic. Saute a little & add some chilli flakes. Saute for a minute & add chicken. Cook it until water gets dry. Now add prepared tomato puree, shangrila chilli garlic sauce & salt. Now cook it until sauce gets thick.
Now add boiled penne and mix it well. Transfer it into a serving bowl and garnish it with some spring onion and parmesan cheese.
Voila! your piping hot Penne Arrabiata is ready. Enjoy.
