Venerdì Gnocolar is a much underestimated festivity in Verona. The gnocchi king comes and gives gnocchi to everyone. If you are a good Veronese, you’ll eat gnocchi on the Friday of Carnival.
We are making the traditional gnocchi with tomato sauce.
Ingredients:
1kg potatoes
300g flour
1 egg
salt
Ingredients for Sauce:
Olive Oil
Canned Tomatoes
Salt
Black Pepper
Oregano
Basil
