Hello everyone today I will be making Italian Crema strawberry tart I have tried this tart in Rome and i really missed it since I came back, so I decided to make it at home and it tastes exactly the same as the one I tried in Italy. I hope you guys will enjoy my recipe thank you.
For the Dough:
Plain flour 125g (1 cup)
Caster sugar 40g
1 pinch sea salt
1 Lemon for the zest
Butter 90g (6 tbsp)
1 egg yolk
Water 2 tbsp
For the Crema (Custard)
Milk 2 cups
Plain flour 75g
Caster sugar 125g (1/2 cup)
Vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste 1 tsp
2 egg yolks
