My name is Marcello and I am a chef and owner of an Italian restaurant that serves traditional Italian and Vegan cuisine in Cork, Ireland. I came to Ireland in 1999, thinking to start a new life with the new Millennium.
Since I was a little kid, I’ve always loved food. My mother would cook all day, we were a family of six, and that was a must in an Italian house. We lived in Rome. At the age of 7, my mother thought me my first recipe. It was a dessert. The Panna Cotta. I enjoyed the feeling of being appreciated for what I’ve created, and that’s when I thought: When I am an adult, I will become a chef and I will have my own restaurant.
