A spicy rice dish with Italian favours which everybody would like to cook serve and eat.
Ingredients
• 1 glass rice
• 3 glass of water
• 2 capsicums (optional)
• 2 onions (medium size)
• 2 tomatoes
• 2 green chillies
• 1spoon crushed garlic
• 300 grams of Mushroom
• Salt, dry red chilli, black pepper, and Italian herbs to taste
• 2 Tbsps. olive oil.
Method
1. wash and soak the rice in water for 15 minutes
2. slice the capsicums, onions and mushrooms heat oil in a wide pan
3. Sauté the Capsicum and take them out (for garnishing)
4. now take a spoon of crushed garlic and sauté
5. add onion and fry till the raw smell goes, now add the mushrooms and sauté on high flame
6. add all the spices and seasoning mix well
7. add rice along with water
8. cover and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until the rice is done
9. finely chop the tomatoes and green chillies add to the cooked rice and give it a quick mix
10. cover the rice and switch off the flame immediately let it rest for 5 minutes
11. your yummy spicy mushrooms in rice are ready to serve
Note: serves 4 therefore increase or decrease the quantity as required
If you want less spicy omit dry and green chillies
