Homemade Bara:
Ingredients:
Black gram flour ½ cup
Split Bengal gram ½ cup
Ginger powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Soda bicarb 1 pinch
Water as required
Oil for frying
Method:
Mix both the flour, salt and ginger powder. Mix with as required water and prepare a thick batter. Then add soda bicarb and make baras out of it. Now heat oil and fry well. Allow it to cool, secure.
Dahi Bara Masala:
Ingredients:
Cumin 2 tbsp
Coriander 2 tbsp
Red chilies (whole) 2 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp
Black salt ½ tbsp.
Method:
Roast cumin, coriander and red chilies. Grind well. Add salt and secure.
Homemade Dahi phulki:
Ingredients:
Gram flour 1 cup
Salt ½ tsp
Soda bicarb 1 pinch
Cumin (crushed) 1 tsp
Water as required
Oil for frying
Method:
Sieve gram flour and add cumin. Then add as required water and make a thick batter. Now add soda bicarb and with the help of strainer or spoon fry the phulkian. Allow it to cool down and secure.
Imli ka panna:
Ingredients:
Tamarind ½ cup
Water 2 cups
Cumin powder ½ tsp
Dry ginger powder ½ tsp
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Jaggery to taste
Salt to taste
Black salt to taste
Method:
Soak tamarind and grind it. Then add all the ingredients and cook until it gets boil. Allow it to cool and secure.
