How’s that for an endorsement? The converted cottage in Hillcrest was a very popular Italian restaurant. Chef/owner Joe Busalacchi’s seafood pasta was the eater’s favorite dinner entree in all of San Diego in 1993. Busalacchi’s on Fifth eventually moved one block away and was renamed Busalacchi’s A Modo Mio in 2011.
