The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Sant’orsola-Malpighi Polyclinic in Bologna has been tending to the coronavirus patients as Italy remains as one of the worst-hit countries in terms of its number of COVID-19 related deaths.
Footage shot on Thursday shows the hospital’s ICU and the health workers, clad in hazmat suits, as they tend to the patients.
Italy remains as one of the most-affected countries by COVID-19 in the world, with 143,626 cases and 18,279 fatalities, as data compiled by Johns Hopkins University shows.
