Acqui Terme is a city and comune in the province of Alessandria, Piedmont, northern Italy. It’s a small town known for its healing thermal waters and the Dolcetto red wine.
Today, Acqui Terme is the largest wellness spa in Piedmont. It has been completely renovated in recent years both in terms of spa facilities and accommodations. Tourists can visit the local attractions of the region like castles or other natural beauties, and enjoy tasting the local food and delicious wines.
The hot springs of Acqui are some of the oldest in northern Italy: the ancient Ligurians had a settlement there, and the springs were famous in Roman times and in tremendous demand during the Middle Ages.
