3/8 Pasta With Alfredo Sauce (Wednesday) – 2 servings

Ingredients:
-Any store-bought pasta (or homemade!)
-1 tsp. butter
-2 cups whole milk (1 cup per serving)
-1/4 tsp. Italian Spice Blend
-1 tbsp. All-Purpose flour
-1 tbsp. warm milk
-Parmigiano Reggiano for serving, to taste
-Salt, to taste
-Pepper, to taste

Steps:
Prepare the store-bought pasta according to box instruction. Drain and store warm while sauce is being prepared.
Warm a heavy-bottomed saucepan prior to adding the butter. After the butter is melted, add the 2 cups of whole milk, the Italian Seasoning, and the pepper (however much you want). Let this come to a soft boil. Continue to simmer for an additional 3 minutes.
Mix the warm milk with the flour. After it is well mixed, add it to the saucepan in a slow stream. Let the sauce continue to simmer for an additional 2 minutes.
Now, add the pasta into the sauce and mix well for about a minute. Add salt to taste if needed. Transfer to a bowl and then garnish with Parmigiano Reggiano. Enjoy!!
