We don’t want to reach the situation in Italy, where doctors have to make the “awful decision” on who gets into the ICU and who doesn’t, says Dr Jeffrey Cutter, senior consultant at the Singapore health ministry. “If you need the ICU and I can’t give you because I don’t have anymore ICUs, you will just die,” he added during a news conference on Monday (Mar 16) announcing the extension of mosque closures in Singapore.
