We came to Macau expecting a casino city, but what we found was something completely different — a unique blend of Chinese and Portuguese culture you can see, feel, and especially taste. From the historic streets of Old Macau to incredible local food, this place offers one of the most unique travel experiences in Asia.
And we couldn’t have come at a better time…
Macau is officially recognized by UNESCO as a Creative City of Gastronomy, and we experienced the Macau International Gastronomy Festival, where flavors from around the world come together in one place.
In this Macau travel vlog, we explore:
– Old Macau & Portuguese heritage
– Traditional Macanese food
– The UNESCO Gastronomy Festival
– Local culture & hidden spots
– And of course… the famous Macau casinos
This is one of the most unique places we’ve visited — and definitely not what we expected.

We came to Macau expecting casinos… and left thinking about the culture and food 👀
This place is way more than what people usually talk about.
👉 What surprised you the most in this video — the Chinese-Portuguese mix or the food?
Great video! What a beautiful mix of cultures and food 🤤
Please come back to China again,we welcome to you❤❤❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
This was such a great vlog, I've always heard this place was a giant hub for big Chinese gamblers and BIG money spent. I really just imagined to be more like Vegas; it was really cool to see the true character of Macao. Thanks for sharing.
I had no idea this placed had so much Portuguese influence. I absolutely love the style. Eager to hear more about that hybrid language. Is it true?
I didn’t know Macao is recognized by UNESCO as a Creative City of Gastronomy 😍
That gastronomy festival looked amazing… so many different foods in one place 🤤 definitely adding this to my list!
Very beautiful, clean and good energy it seems around ☺️
It’s the Macanese language. Just like every region in China has their own regional language but mandarin is the main language of China.
Macau's revenue is now double that of Las Vegas.
Vegas has basically peaked back when, no growth, whereas Asian economies are all growing rapidly.
Have you tried Portuguese egg tart? I love it so much
uau shumë shumë bukurë 🎉🎉

The statue is the goddess of the sea. As Macau was a fishing port, fishermen want blessing from the statue which is known as ‘`Guan Yin.’.
I had never heard of this place before, but after your video I was very surprised, a very, very interesting place. I really like your videos, keep it up, you are very good

Wow, such an interesting place to visit! I've never thought it would be this diverse 😅😊
Cantonese is the local, dominant, and native language spoken in everyday life by over 80% of the population in Macau. It is the de facto official Chinese language used in government, media, and education, sharing a similar status to its role in Hong Kong.

You are so kind. You reply to every message, even helping to smooth things over for some not-so-friendly or controversial comments. But no matter what, your own experience is the most important. At the same time, I really enjoy watching your videos! I hope you have a great time in China!
