Baked Ziti in Crockpot:
50 oz pasta sauce
15 oz tomato sauce
1 lb uncooked ziti
15 oz ricotta
2 eggs
chopped basil
2 C grated parmesan
1 C shredded mozzarella
I also added 1/2 lb browned ground beef and 1/2 lb browned ground Italian sausage
Italian seasoning as you like
S/P as you like
Combine ricotta, eggs and basil in bowl and stir
combine pasta sauce and tomato sauce together (with meat mixture if you choose)
Add 1/3 of the sauce mixture to bottom of crock
top with 1/3 of pasta
dot with 1/2 of the ricotta mixture
add 1 C parmesan
layer again
layer one more time ending with pasta – cover with the remaining sauce
put on high for 2.5 hours then add remaining mozzarella and parmesan – cover for about 15 mins for it to melt
