Cheesy Garlic Confit Bread

Ingredients
1/4 cup garlic confit (soft cloves, no oil)
6 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
1/2 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
Salt + black pepper
1โ€“2 tbsp chopped parsley

Assemble
1 loaf sourdough bread
1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan
1 cup shredded mozzarella

Instructions
Make the garlic butter โ†’ Mix garlic confit with softened butter, chili flakes, a pinch of salt, black pepper, and parsley until fully combined.

Prep the bread โ†’ Slice sourdough in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter all over both halves. Top with Parmesan first, then finish with mozzarella.

Bake โ†’ Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) and bake for 10โ€“12 minutes until the cheese is melted, then broil for 1โ€“2 minutes for golden spots. Watch closely.
