Toscan cucina povera is amazing. We were once in Florence for a conference and had a formal dinner together, and we had LOCAL and SEASONAL food (it was November).
We had 7 course meal, for example ribollita, which is absolutely cucina povera. And it was probably the best dinner in my life.
