Johnny Carino’s-glad you enjoyed it. They have had some troubles around the country, mostly due to franchisees. The ones in North Dakota closed. When we lived in Colorado we were excited when Carino’s opened near our home. they have an open kitchen. That evening the salad chef had a cold and kept wiping his nose with the back of his hand. I called it to the attention of the manager who seemed indifferent. I wrote corporate and they were extremely grateful and sent us gift certificates for four free visits. Needless to say we would use them elsewhere. Their Chicken parmigiana and Caesar salad are fantastic. In the bread department, for a chain restaurant, we like Carrabbas best. I see there’s one in Hickory (if you haven’t been).
We've eaten at Johnny Carino's & Bullfish Grill. We enjoyed both of them. I think maybe the bread may have been better if they had cooked it more. The food looked good. Thumbs up! God Bless!

I loved the look of this restaurant and all the lights outside. Beautiful. You unlocked a memory for me with the Italian nachos. There was an Italian restaurant I used to take my sister to when I first started working many years ago. They had Italian nachos but I believe they had some marinara sauce with cheese sauce on them that we absolutely loved. Also, I love anything gorgonzola or blue cheese. Some people don't like it and warn you of it. Lol. Your dish looked delicious and so did Shawnasi's. I love jalapenos too. There were a lot of interesting dishes on the menu when you showed it but the two you ordered stood out. I like bread with the olive oil and herbs seasoning. It's true that you can go to an area over and over again and there can still be great restaurants to discover. Same for us with Lancaster county. $6.99 was a great price for those nachos btw. Great video as always. I loved Shawnasi's dress and boots.
We are glad you were able to eat here. I think it is worth a visit. There are so many good Italian restaurants in the area so it is hard to get back to some of them. We loved our visit at Carino's last 2 visits to TN. I usually have similiar tastes and choose the same dishes as Shawnasi ,this time though I went with Derrick's choice. *Kind of a Fun game: We pause the video at the menu ,as we like to guess which dishes y'all will go with -most times we are correct. Agree with the Bullfish name,and actually have passed it up because we thought it was oddly named for a resturant lol. Nobody wants to watch others eating,chewing and swallowing their entire meals..that's just weird! Seems they're trolls! Every youtuber has their own style so Keep on doing your videos, We got you!❤

Haven’t been there in a long time so this brought back good memories of long ago. Looked so good. My husband liked the 5 meat Tuscan pasta.
