This is so true, we had a US american exchange student in Germany, she was almost 2 years older than us but was put into our class (I‘ll spare you the comment on the US education system for a 17 almost 18yo being put in a class with 16yos) and she got absolutely wasted to the point of passing out nearly every single party while we all having been drinking since 14-15 knew our limits and how to behave if shit really hit the fan once in a while.
