WRITTEN RECIPES
CUBAN SANDWICHES

FOR THE PORK:
2 lbs pork tenderloin
1½ cups chicken broth
Juice of 1 orange
Juice of 1 lime
½ tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper

FOR THE SANDWICHES:
Hoagie rolls
Mustard
Mayonnaise
Sliced pickles (such as Claussen pickles)
Sliced ham
Shredded pork (from slow cooker)
Swiss cheese slices

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Place the pork tenderloin in a slow cooker. 2. Add chicken broth, orange juice, lime juice, salt, and pepper. 3. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours until the pork is tender. 4. Remove the pork and shred it with two forks.

PREPARE THE SANDWICHES:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Slice hoagie rolls open.
Spread mustard and mayonnaise on the bread.
Layer ham, shredded pork, pickles, and Swiss cheese.
Place sandwiches on a baking sheet.
Bake about 5 minutes until the cheese melts and the bread is lightly toasted.

PULLED BEEF SANDWICHES
INGREDIENTS:
3–4 lb chuck roast
1 yellow onion, sliced
1 tbsp minced garlic
½ tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1½ cups beef broth

FOR SERVING:
Sandwich buns (toasted)
Colby Jack cheese
French fried onions

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Place chuck roast, onion, and garlic in a slow cooker. 2. Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. 3. Cook on LOW for 7–8 hours until tender. 4. Shred the beef and mix with the juices. 5. Serve on toasted buns with Colby Jack cheese and French fried onions.

  7. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my 3rd pregnancy almost 10 years ago. Instead of trying again we decided to travel the world with our 2 girls and have had the very best time. There are so many things we could not have done had things been otherwise and experiences they would have missed out on. I hope you find your silver lining some day.

My heart is sending you so much love and encouragement. My first rainbow baby is a ball of joy and he’s turning 3 this summer. I can’t imagine someone else instead of him.
