President Donald Trump said Team USA women’s hockey team will visit the White House following their gold-medal win at the Winter Olympics.
The announcement came on the heels of a controversy after Trump’s comments on the president spoke on the phone to the men’s team following its gold medal victory on Feb. 22, extending the invitation while adding, “I must tell you, we’re going to have to bring the women’s team, you do know that?” Trump went on to suggest he could face impeachment if he didn’t invite the women’s team.
